You need to pay for your abortion at the time of your appointment.

• Rockford Family Planning Center accepts credit cards, cash, and cashier’s checks from the bank. If you will be paying using someone else’s credit card, they will need to be in attendance with a valid ID.

• Every insurance carrier has different coverage and co-pay guidelines. To determine whether your insurance covers abortions we recommend you contact your insurance company.   If you wish to seek insurance reimbursement from your carrier, we will provide you with a summary of your treatment.

• Medicaid Recipients from any state will receive a 50.00 discount with an active Medicaid card.   

• Financial assistance is available for those in need. We are connected to funds in Illinois, Iowa, and Wisconsin. They may provide assistance with health care, travel, and other related costs.

• Chicago Abortion Fund (you will be given the “intake form” link once your appointment is made.)

• National Abortion Federation  “Because this medical Facility is a National Abortion Federation (NAF) member, patients here may be eligible for limited financial assistance.”

• Midwest Access Coalition   847-750-6224. MAC does not pay towards your abortion. This fund helps with the cost associated with travel.

• Iowa and Wisconsin funds are available and handled by our staff.
